Yesterday, I went to load up the three toons I play. Normally, I do the following out of habit: 1. Open launcher, select account for first toon 2. When EQ window opens, close launcher 3. Open launcher, select account for second toon 4. When EQ window opens, close launcher 5. Open launcher, select account for third toon 6. When EQ window opens, close launcher Yesterday, though, I did this: 1. Open the launcher 3 times 2. Select accounts for each of the launchers 3. Click play on the launchers One of the three characters loaded with default keybinds. The others loaded fine. I edited the a couple of the keybinds that were screwing me up (crouch to "c", multi-binds) and just continued playing. Has anyone else experienced this kind of issue?
This might not be the same unless you are using multiple install folders. I have 3 accounts that I launch from 2 different folders, and I have shortcuts for the 2 folders on my desktop. Account 1 launches from folder A, and Accounts 2 and 3 both launch from folder B. If I take these steps: 1. Double-click folder A shortcut, 2. Immediately double-click folder B shortcut twice, and 3. Login to the 3 accounts and login the typical 3 characters, then sometimes, the character on Account 1 loads the outdated UI files and hotbuttons that are in folder B. At least that's where I assume it's loading the incorrect files. If instead I do this: 1. Double-click the folder A shortcut, 2. Wait until the Launchpad checks the files and indicates I can click the Play button, 3. Then double-click the folder B shortcut twice, and 4. Login to the 3 accounts and login the typical 3 characters, then I've never had a problem with any characters on any account loading the incorrect files.
