Now that the BETA reward is out (/claim), why.. Why turn a pet into a crate?
Why a crate (chest, box)?

I don't understand the theme.

You know there are mimics in cobalt scar right?

Mimics have always been animated chests in the games. You can find them in Plane of Mischief, Cobalt Scar, Runnyeye, and other zones. If you expected "mimic" to mean a literal mimic of your avatar, I could see the confusion.

Every Time I see a Mimic I am reminded of "The Luggage" from the Discworld series of books by Terry Pratchett (RIP).

Same, they always make me smile.
