When will the heroic characters hit the accounts please?

So how does one claim the lvl 100 Heroic character. It says we have til April 20th to do it, and that we have to log in on an account to get it. I logged in and out on all my accounts and logged back in, and no heroic 100. Is there something else needed to do? It's definitely not clear.

EDIT... Ok apparently logging into the character select isn't enough. You need to log all the way into an existing character on some server. Once you do and log out the Heroic character shows up (on servers that allow lvl 100 heroics).

Are you All Access? If not, you don't get one.

If you are, click the drop down menu for heroic characters either on the character screen or on the inventory window in game...it'll tell you what you have.

Just wanted to say thanks to the Darkpaw team for tossing in a free 100 heroic. That was a really neat and unexpected surprise.

I just had a question regarding how they are utilized. Way back when heroics were first introduced (85's) the team gave out a free one to members. The way it worked was that you could make 1 heroic per account but also per server. I remember making them for each account on my old original server and then making them for each account on the FV server which I always planned to someday play on. I recently started on FV and those old school 85 heroics I had sitting there have really made for some nice buff bots!

So does this free 100 heroic work in a similar fashion? 1 per account on each server? Or is it just a one time usage tied to your account that can only be used one single time on one server?

You remember incorrectly. You could not do one per server. It was one per account.

When they first introduced heroic characters, they gave us a week or two to try them out for free. During that time, you could delete the free one and remake it, though you'd only get the plat and bayle marks the first time you used it. After that trial week or two passed, deleting the free heroic wouldn't allow you to create another.

Since the heroic characters were introduced, they have also given out free level 85 heroic characters twice (I think it was 2, at least) during anniversary time. Those function like purchased heroics, allowing you to delete the character and get the flag back as many times as you want.

This is the first time we've been given a free level 100 heroic character, but I expect it to function like the purchased heroic upgrades. While you should be able to use it on multiple servers, you can only use it on one server at a time. In order to use it on another server, you'll first have to delete the previous character. You'll also only get the platinum and Bayle marks the first time you use the upgrade.

I didn't remember them doing it a second time I guess cause I still have them on both servers.

Oh that isn't entirely fair! Somewhat, though, but I feel that it's the constant pressuring for higher levels that is a lot to blame, making the action higher instead of broader. In place of working the way along, there is nonsense (I feel) about Collections that can seemingly be swapped for Achievement points. Then, the winners are baying for more levels. It's like stretching out a piece of chewing-gum until it loses its taste and hardly exists any more!

I was on AB yesterday, revelling in my various pet cats bought from the Marketplace. It has been several years since I bought them and my alts on FV are feeling deprived by not having them! Please, offer some more and I agree about the Jester familiar as well. All my alts, where possible, do the Visage of the Daft Trickster quest, in spite of the awful slowdown these days on the part of Postmaster Songfairer; I have been waiting for half an hour for him to come and either give the quest or acknowledge my alt's completion of it. He can't sing anyway...
