Banish was to keep high levels from taking mobs from low levels. Instance does that now. No need for banish.

There are open raids in Newplayers chat for open world naggy/vox because they do banish.

I'd imagine they want to try to get it nerfed so that the items sell for more.

Maybe several years after this is reported, someone will actually notice and fix it, just like the hotzone experience.
