Hey guys, I am level 26 and still using the starter armor/weapon I got in the mines at level 10. I want to get it from quests or drop that I can solo primarily, I would like to obtain new armor and a new 1 hand sword and shield and a new 2 hand sword. Any Suggestions? Thanks!

First off, you probably don't really need to upgrade your armor yet (or at least spend any time on it, just take what drops / what quests you do while leveling). If you have any platinum (a few hundred to over a thousand will probably do), you could go to the bazaar and look for a twink weapon. I don't really see or know any off hand for Paladin that are solo-able. What you want is the highest ratio of Damage divided by Delay to maximize your DPS. Generally, I just go with Blade of Disruption and Edge of Envelopment for 1HS and 2HS to 60, then at 65 get better and Epics. Yther Ore.
Exactly. Don't worry about armour, just see what Defiant drops for you, and check the quests from hot zones, Hero's Journey and in Blightfire Moors for upgrades; there are a lot, so do research on ZAM and with quest reward preview. Look in the Bazaar from time to time and get Blade of Disruption if you see it available and can afford it. But armor upgrades (and to a slightly lesser extent weapon upgrades) will make very little difference for you until late 50s. Shop for Elaborate Defiant at 59, and SoF weapons at 65.
Use /claim to get an appropriate level item(s). Can only claim once per toon, although I believe what you get is tradeable.
Gift of Legacies Lost gives you three armor items, one weapon, and a couple of other stuff. The armour and weapons are all Defiant, possibly slightly lower level than you are expecting (i.e. you can probably buy higher level Defiant in the Bazaar that you can equip).
