I did two earlier today, now all of a sudden my one last character get stuck in limbo. I click the server, the name is not taken, click transfer get kicked out as normal. Try to log on the new server receive a message that "There is a character already logged in" wait for a few minutes, try again, and the character has not been transferred to the new server and is still on the old one. Normally, I get kicked out and can log on the character on the new server right away. I've done this 15 times at least, anyone have any resolutions? I've tried checking for malware, checking files, etc.
Ran into a problem similar to this moving a character off Trakanon. My name was already taken (on the new server) so I made a new name. I had the exact same problem until I realized that the name was not acceptable to use when trying to create a new character. Once I chose a different name it worked fine.
