Anyone know why neither the item Gunthak Swabby's Eyepatch nor the spell: illusion Gunthak Pirate will cast an illusion on me or someone in group? I am an enchanter. Project Illusion: Enabled. I tried clicking off illusion benefit greater jann buff and familiar, and mount buff, same results. No blocked message for what could be causing it to not land.
Have you checked your blocked buffs ? I don't know if you get a message if you have an illusion blocked.
If you have a stat illusion buff in your keyring that is the default stat buff (down at the bottom) then it could be blocking this one since you cannot have 2,
I had the illusions blocked ^_^. Then still odd was the spell would not project onto a group member but casting from the item did project.
There are still some spells where it appears that the illusion part casts first and then triggers the buff part. So, if you have the illusion blocked this could be the issue. It would be nice if all buff spells that also have an illusion part could be switched so that the buff part is cast first and then the illusion. This way you could block the illusion but still get the buff. e.g. Jann's Veil, if you block the illusion then the buff is also blocked
