<Grey Hawke> of The Rathe is recruiting for Rain of Fear and soon Call of the Forsaken raiding! Currently, we are wrapping up T2 and preparing to move on to Xorbb and CotF soon after Christmas. Grey Hawke is not a guild for bad players, it is not a refuge for people who like to AFK in the middle of encounters, and it is not here to hand you phat lewts without any effort on your part. That being said, let me tell you a little about who we are and what we do. About Grey Hawke As a guild we’ve been around a long, long time. We formed in March of 1999 on the Karana server when this game first launched and have been raiding ever since. Most of our members are long time EQ junkies that have made a game like Everquest work with the increasing work and social obligations that come with growing up, having families, careers, etc. Gone are our days of server firsts and hardcore competition, but that doesn’t mean we don’t like to raid and have a good time. We’re most active during raid times and you can usually find something fun to do on the weekends. Scheduling Our scheduled raid times are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8-11PM (EST) and often times we get together for old content after raids or on the weekends. Part of keeping EQ casual is having a lax attendance policy to make sure that you can still slay dragons and feed your kids at the same time. Loot We handle loot using EQDKP whereby you are awarded points for attendance, kills, and bribing officers which you then use to bid on upgrades after we slay the internet dragons. The DKP system isn’t the final word, and on occasion officers have given necessary upgrades to specific people. For instance, new spell motes will default to buff classes with the highest attendance, to make sure our raid stays powerful. Requirements We’re looking for people who are at least level 97 with 3000 well spent AA. All classes are currently open with a special need for clerics, beastlords, monks, and warriors.
