Game started crashing out of no where after selecting character and hitting enter world.

    Started max of like 5 days ago, maybe tied to hotfix? Any ideas what to do, did file check, and chkdsk, and reinstalled the game same thing happens.

    Hello,
    Did you modify your UI or anything related to your character ini files? Like Social hotkeys, spells, eqclient.ini (game configurations) etc?

    Probably a corrupted UI file

    Rename your UI_charactername_servername.ini file (I put OLD_ in front of the name) and load up the game,

    You will have a default UI set up

    You can then copy your old UI settings using copy layout in the options screen before deleting the OLD_ one.

    I did not change anything in my files, but I will try . Thanks for the tip.

    Now when I go into the game I have to log into a different character, then into the one I want to get in. If I go straight to the character I want game crashes.
