On Steam it says that TBM is free to play but that’s not true... so, will TBM be free to play when this new expansion comes out?
It is still free to download all expansions up to TBM. DBG decided not to unlock TBM expansion download and include it in the free downloads. Steam perhaps should update their info. So if you want to play in that expansion you will need to buy the latest which will include that expansion. You do not have to subscribe monthly. There is no restriction on buying an expansion and playing in it be you free or paid. Just the usual no prestige etc that free accounts don't get anyway. You should know if you want to play it after 18 expansions. What people overlook is the fact if they make TBM free to free accounts then it is also free to paying accounts. So they simply streamlined it so now every one pays for every expansion. Stop being cheap people!!! You spend more on soda/starbucks whatever in one day then you would all month in EQ with a subscription and the latest expansion.
F2P is currently capped at 105. It increased to that last year. The only way to reach 110 is to pay for the last expansion. If you are paying, then you are not completely F2P.
