free to play?

    so i just made an account, i didn't need to download the client because i already had it. but when i attempt to login i am give an error stating hat i must have a vaild subscription?

    i know EQ1 is free to play now what do i have to do to activate it?

    Are you skipping the launcher using patchme flag? I had this happen once because I needed to accept the EULA or TOS using the launcher.

    Another possible source of problems is if your launcher is more than just a couple of years old; in which case it is best to reinstall from scratch.
