Since this last patch, my fps setting isn't saving. Everytime I have to manually set my fps. It defaults to 30 and it looks like I'm lagging horribly. I change it to 120 and it's smooth like butter. Log out and back in, it's back to 30. The background fps setting stays set at whatever I want, it's just the normal fps setting that is resetting.
Are you using fast camp? That wont save any changes. Make sure your ini files are not readonly. Are you changing it to 30 on "any other characters"? Because its saved to EQclient, its not a per character setting. You have to pick one value and stick with it. Exit out of all EQ instances, you can try manually editing EQclient.ini, 150 is unlimited: MaxFPS=150 MaxBGFPS=150
Fast camp absolutely saves changes. If you camp to character select in any way, there is a save done. Just not if you /ex or /q.
