Are there any fast casting / instant dots/abilities for necros when pet fighting easy mobs with non-stop pulls? By easy I mean ones which die in less than 10 seconds? I inherited a 100 heroic necro with about 8k AA (basically auto-grant) but feel like I am not utilizing him properly. I feel like I am wasting my mana casting Impel for Blood which most of time gets the killshot: http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?spell=35652 I've played SK and BST before and both have fast/instant cast dots/dd. Is there anything faster? Maybe there is some AA I should be weaving in when fighting trash mobs?
There is a tribute "Affliction Haste" that will drop your dot casting time to 1.7s (with cleric spell haste).
If the mobs are dying in less than 10 seconds....I guess you can send in the pet and hit them with lifetaps. If they live abit longer than that you got those swift dots.
