Using Familiar of the Hooded Scrykin with Revived Assassin ... Zoning causes the Assassin pet to vanish. Removing the familiar buff resolves the issue. Uh oh!
I wonder if this is what is causing my sk pet to keep disappearing? I thought maybe I had missed something and somehow he was getting killed by mobs in POP zones while working on progression. I am not using the same familiar. I have the protective mimic in my stat slot and I have been using the bat familiar from the neriak collector box deal earlier this year as my visible familiar. None of my mage pets have vanished but I don't cast a familiar on them and they fight along side my sk pet with taunt on so it is doubtful my sk pet would ever get enough agro to take more damage than them and second I don't see any mob in a POP zone killing them. I am sure this is a bug of some sort but did not really think about it to much before you posted this as killing in POP zones does not really require an sk pet and I did not care so much if he was gone.
