(ToV) Eastern Wastes, Giant fort, terrible pathing in here, which I was was kinda knowledgeable about, but I thought I could overcome that by bum-rushing the mob. Only this time they had a new trick up their sleeve..... Mob by fire in centre of fort I ran right up TO the mob, but it was an extra sneaky bastage it vanished..... Then it aggroes the mobs in the building next to its spawn point & summons me beneath the zone so he & his mates can kill me. Loc this happened approx 1213.28, 1479.54, -296.30
The pathing in other zones in EQ are equally bewildering. Crushbone in particular is very bad if you have a pet, it can take 3 minutes for a pet to meet up with you. Go to Karnor's Castle and watch mobs that are pulled going back and forth about 5-7 times. It looks robotic and silly. This happens in Unrest in the courtyard too. I don't recall pathing issues like this existing years ago. P1999 has minimal pathing issues as I recall. I wager something in the code has changed.
