    Given the location of the SOE Daybreak headquarters, even if the dev's chosen method of transportation was a bicycle (single or tandem), said dev would likely need to fart somewhere along the commute to (or from) work.

    Therefore, since methane gas (which is a primary component of flatulence) is considered a hydrocarbon... the answer to your original question should still be a "yes".
