The NPC drops multiple items from a table. What we "want" today and what was wanted when Kunark unveiled are likely very different matters. It's part of the reason I chose this NPC. Allakhazam does not indicate a nerf to any of the items and I don't believe I see anything different from when Kunark came out, but then, that's testing memory. So, I'm going to answer - Yes.
Indeed I was and in the hands of a Paladin, a shield becomes a weapon. The tricky part for me was in answering the quest inquiry. When introduced, the NPC was not involved in a quest. However, when RoS came out with Hunter achievements in old content, the NPC was included in the achievement and Allakhazam terms it a quest. No real good answer to that question.
