Currently there are two choices for multi-factor authentication (MFA) on EQ - either "Two-setp verification" by SMS message or a "Daybreak Authenticator" fob that I'm not even sure that we can obtain any more. SIM-swapping attacks make SMS MFA less secure/desirable, and I SO don't want another single-application fob laying around that I have to find any time I want to use it. Having implemented TOTD tokens in another project I know they're not difficult to add, and that would make software MFA a LOT easier by enabling the use of applications like Authy and Google Authenticator (or if you want to get really fancy you could make use of push notification apps like Symantec VIP Access or Okta Verify). Is this something that we could add as an MFA option?
The Fob is dead as is the app they had. Feb 12, 2019 Hello! Unfortunately, the Daybreak Defender is no longer being supported The App they once had also was available on iOS only - the android app never came to life. And the current 2 step will fire off randomly and block players accounts.
