Interesting... I've been running Norton for over a year and a half, and I've never run into this until today's patch. Did you guys expire your digital signatures?
More than likely Norton is overreacting like it frequently does. Possibly to something that was changed in the patch.
I would rather have most viruses out there than Norton, Heck 90% of the anti virus software is worst than the viruses they are trying to stop. Windows defender is so much better than any 3rd party anti virus software out there. Stop paying / using it.
I have four different copies of eqgame.exe on my computer dating 7/19/23, 5/20/19, 5/15/23, 6/15/23 and none are digitally signed, at least by checking the Properties in File Explorer. LaunchPad.exe is digitally signed...back on June 1, 2017...
Used to work for a major internet company and we cussed Norton daily. It caused more intervention issues than any other program. Its invasive and creepy.
