Yes it is a pretty big bummer with all the stacking issues.
Something else other than Savage Growth or Defiant Stance is also overwriting the familiar, but I havent caught it yet.

What classes does this stack with?

So many have said this doesn't stack with their buffs or AAs.

Doesn't stack with ruaabris fist, or the raid rare from rof (upgrade to ruaabri)

I can have it up together with my wizard AA-familiar, but I don't think the damage bonus stacks with our AA-familiar.

The Shaman Temporary HP Buff (Growth line) overwrites it, I imagine the pally self only version does the same thing.

Those kind of gifts should be as aa instead.

You click item and you gain a passive aa which gives you the stats.

Then the item becomes something that is just a decorative item.
The aa goes in under special.

It would make the items more desiable and people would want to buy them in markedsplace.
Then no more stacking problems.
