I have the Windows key disabled using software that came with my MS keyboard. However, the Windows key does not seem to be disabled when running EQ in full screen. Here is why this is so annoying: I sometimes accidentally hit Windows Key-Tab in EQ. This opens up the Flip3D feature and (strangely) makes my Windows key behave as if it is stuck down. For instance, when this happens, hitting the r key in game opens the Run option in Windows. I have to log out and reboot to fix this. I have tried the NoWinKeys registry change that is easy to find online, but it doesn't help. I really don't want to disable my Aero theme. I also don't want to pry the damn key off my keyboard. Is there any way to disable the frickin' Windows key in EQ?
I used to have that issue too. So I just pop'ed the window's key out of the keyboard with a butter knife.
