Daybreak grants all of its employees a paid ‘unplug day’

    There's been a fair few interviews with EQ devs past & present where it's subtlety or overtly indicated that the EverQuest team have good pay & conditions (at least comparatively to the most of the rest of the industry) so I think the team is pretty well looked after generally on those scores.

    Looking after your staff, especially when training them up to work on a game like EQ can take a good chunk of time so is therefore a commitment on the company's part to get them up to speed, makes sense because if they were leaving every few months you would be losing on your training investment and your product would suffer.

    I think it's great that they are given actual "unplug" days, which is more important when so many folks are working from home a lot more where actually unplugging has proven to be more difficult.
