According to reports on the Zam page for Crown of the Vampire Hunter (RNG ROG SHM BER) : - it has no visual on a wood elf. - even though it should be chain armor, it appears to be flagged as leather. It refuses to accept a chain ornament, but will accept a leather one.
Like many helms in this era (65-70 particularly) the DPoB drops are all flagged as "cloth" for appearance purposes and don't show a graphic. Whether there should be a quest similar to the one in Gates of Discord to add a graphic https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=2740 could be a case you could try to make but there are a LOT of helms in this era with this problem so would be non insignificant undertaking I imagine. At the very least flagging the chain/plate helms in their appropriate category for Hero's Forge purposes should be considered as they make money off their marketplace sales.
