One of my computers has 6 or 7 accounts running all the time. Most of the time toons are at char select. Today out of nowhere, one of the characters/accounts crashed (like window just vanished).. Re login, get to char select, and I choose, and when it should go live, BAM, window's gone. I thought well the computer just needs to be rebooted. So I did that. And logged in the 3 toons I was playing and did fine for a few hours. Then zoning, BAM, window's gone again. Will not come back. I can get to character select fine, choose a different toon, logs in fine. But log in the main, BAM, window vanishes. Was running fine after the patch. Running fine...then all of sudden this started. Advice, please and thank you
For the character that is crashing, try moving their ini files out of your EQ directory. The next time you login, they'll be regenerated. It's possible that one of the ini files somehow became corrupt. It happened to one of my new characters once.
