Crashing every time I try to zone into guild lobby

This just started today. Try to log into Grand Guild Hall or just zone into it normally, always results in EQ sitting there for an extended period of time, then returning me to server select screen or log back in within EQ (not with the launch pad). I have had issues with periodic crashes during zoning for YEARS with no solution ever being provided and several re-installs throughout that time, none of which changed anything. Also been having more zone-crashings since the new "client" compile and have had crashes while already within a zone.

Right now I can't enter the grand guild hall with ANY of my characters and have no choice but to "return home" at character select screen to regain control of my characters.

Here is a copy of my most recent part of my dbg.txt for reference (this should show EQ bugging out when trying to zone into grand guild hall).

Are you getting a specific error message? Perhaps an error message stating insufficient memory?

I'm now having the basically the exact same issue. I went into the grand guild hall, was stuck waiting for a few minutes, and was then disconnected. Since then, every time I've tried to log in past character select I've been disconnected. The error message is the black screen saying "The server is not responding," followed by "you have been disconnected." Now I have to unfortunately wait for the return to home button, when I was hoping to get in a session with my family.

Today I'm experiencing this same issue. Is there any resolution for this problem? I can't even return home as that option is greyed out.

Just an update: this doesn't appear to be a one-time issue. I was eventually able to return home, but upon trying to enter the guild hall later I was met with the exact same results. Is anybody else still having this issue? And are there any known solutions? I talked with my guild and nobody else knew anything about it.

    Please note the following:
    1. what server you are on
    2. the the zone you are attempting to enter.
    3. ISP and location
    4. Ports listed in the dbg.txt

42246 is the one port address that has been listed. Possible blocked firewall but back in May/June 2012 there was an issue with a particular zone but from the sound of it not all of your guild mates are exhibiting the same issue.

In the past, other times the issue was related to the ISP, be it AT&T Inverse or Cox

It is possible that the port is either blocked on your end, either via firewall, software on computer or router/gateway. It is also possible that your ISP is blocking or restricting the port.

Below are other posts. The issue only crops up when someone is attempting to access a particular zone, but the more popular the zone the more people it affects.

Can't zone into Riftseekers Sanctum on Fippy
Riftseekers Sanctum, Fippy Darkpaw | EverQuest Forums

On the thread below, JGray needed more feedback so that they could "bounce" the zone (reboot it/etc) so it could get a new port address. It is important for those affected to provide as much detail as possible.
