If you buy a "Draught of the Craftsman" and your combine has "an alternate product" you do NOT get your other ingredients back. This is poor coding which makes the "draught" worth next to nothing as it eats your components anyway.
I'm confused, didn't this get changed in the last patch? What were you making and what did you get as a result?
