Can confirm, in game calendar currently showing a Selo and Bootstrutter server, starting in Luclin, and unlocking at the same time projecting forward. Guess we wait for some kind of announcement but well, yeah...
If you look at where Kunark would be expected to unlock on Mangler there is a calendar entry with an UnknownDB String, probably belongs to Mangler.
I did see the Unknown DB, didn't count the days to see if it was Kunark unlock. So possibly holding a spot for a 2nd Luclin server in case demand is super high, like Ragefire/Lockjaw?
It's 12 weeks exactly from Unknown DB entry to the next Unknown DB entry. Almost certainly this is Mangler.
Little more clarified infos... Per in game calendar, Bootstrutter is on the same 4 week unlock schedule as Selo. Unknown DB first shows on 6/5 - Mangler or something left by mistake? Nothing unknown on the launch date with the other two however. So is Bootstrutter the FV variant or the non-truebox variant..... discuss /ducks
Yeah would make sense for Bootstrutter being the back up Selos server if one is needed. Maybe for once DBG was actually trying to plan ahead with a backup server. Is kind of funny if the Unknown DB is Mangler since it sounds like there was only one, so DBG seemed to know that server would be pretty much DOA also.
6/5 is roughly 12 weeks after launch. Then, we have another Unknown DB entry exactly every 12 weeks after that. This is undoubtedly Mangler.
It could be just an old reference pointing at Mangler before it was removed / renamed which is why the following strings are erroring, but we won't really know if it's that or just broken until they confirm it.
Guessing backup or something, if they read all the feedback and surmised what people wanted was two Luclin servers with 1 month unlocks? Not sure what they have been reading.
If they took Selo and copied it then removed truebox or motm and added FV loot - that could be construed as casual. Leave Selo the "hardcore" with motm and non tradable loot?
