I can download and run the live client just fine on my PCand my Microsoft Surface. However, for some reason, when I go to download the Beta installer on my Microsoft Surface, it tries to name the file as "EQ_Beta_setup.1431731933" Instead of just "EQ_Beta_setup". Because of this, it won't actually start the install when I attempt to open it. It just asks me what application I want to use to open it with. Any ideas? I'd like to play more of the beta while on my trip.
Never mind. I dug around the forums a bit, and found a link someone posted that worked. The link I was previously using was from the Everquest Home page. Not sure why it wasn't working correctly for me.
Great that you got that figured out. If you could post (or message me) how it works on your Surface tablet that would be great. Looking at upgrading my tablet sometime (not soon), and was thinking of the Surface just because running EQ on it would be handy.
