Shadows of Doom is the top EU raiding guild, located on Antonius Bayle. For NoS, we completed all raids quickly on release nights, finishing 5th world wide. Our main raid time is 16.00 CET (15.00 GMT, 10am EST, 7am PST) Sundays until we finish. This is currently about 3.5 hours of raiding per week. Additional raids will occur during beta and raid release days, but will be scheduled ahead of time. Beta schedule usually only adds Mondays, but if we are behind can include Tuesday-Thursday starting at 18.30 CET (17.30 GMT, 12:30pm EST, 9:30am PST). We value your time, and generally expect to clear content within a day or two of release, so we are quickly back to one day per week. We are currently looking for (Updated 14. In general, we expect close to max AA or at least a heavy drive towards building AAs you are lacking. We do not require raid gear, but care and effort in building your character will be apparent from your Magelo. You also will need certain required class items like epics and specific clickies as well as your standard raid requirements (personal responsibility for gate, invis, ivu, shrink, levi). Expected Raid attendance is at least 75%+ (3/4 Sundays most months of the year). If you are going to be absent for a raid, it is expected to give a heads up on the forums. Above all we expect a high level of skill from our members. To make it through the application period, you must display ability and a drive to improve your play and optimize your performance through working on gear/augs/AA outside of raid as well as discussions within your class. Loot System We are a DKP based guild. All applicants start earning DKP as soon as they join, but during their trial period (before becoming full member) they have limited bidding rights compared to full members. GINA and Discord The use of GINA and Discord is required in SoD. The guild maintains and shares a GINA raid library with its members and will help you troubleshoot any problems with the program or help you build any triggers you might want. For Discord, you are not required to speak, but you must be able to hear and understand raid directions in English. Our raid leaders speak clearly, and additional voice chatter is heavily discouraged during raids. Most members have English as a second language, so we try to keep messaging and vocabulary clear and simple.
