Failure is like what 1% or something it seems to collapse way to much and i go to use secondary recall on my druid for the first time and it collapses. Pretty sad we get gate aa's but we gotta keep the spell memmed because of the failure rate. why cant gate aa's not fail? its pretty stupid. And the stupiest part of the aa's is the recast time be nice if they reset if they failed but no gotta wait 10mins on my druid.

This is from today. used gate aa collapsed so had to use the normal gate spell . i casted secondary recall to group with my ranger and it collapses too. mind boggling why these can fail so much. All from today. guess just bad rng.

They have said it's hard coded...to which my reply is "then let it be recast without having to wait for the normal cooldown time of 5 or 8 minutes or whatever it is for the ability in question."

I agree. Just change is so that "Your gate collapses" causes the AA to immediately reset.

On my druid I carry around backup Gate clickies and Evac/Succor clickies for when those collapse, though I do not know of any clickies for Secondary bind port and Tertiary bind port.

For Gate there is Circle of Smoke from the Ssra Cursed Cycle event
    and Philter of Major Translocation
and a few other gate potions.

For Succor/Evacuate there is Crucible of Escape
    and Di`Zok Escape Staff
    and a few others.

These are also handy whenever cooldowns are otherwise down and the longer cast time is not a big issue.

Or to spare the fast/instantcast evac. I have a big white shield or something on my Dru I use if I'm succoring to be lazy across a zone(it's from powater iirc, and probably fabled version but both might exist, I forget the name atm) that way when I need the quick evac it's still there. That doesn't solve the recast on collapses, but another option. Also, can use group teleport bind in a pinch(just drop or run away first lol) and of course there are three anchors for Dru/wiz, 2 for everyone else.

Agreed good point, the clicky evac/succor items are very useful when not needing an instant-evac.

This sounds like the Shield of Coral - https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=17742 - with clicky Evacuate, and its fabled version.
