A connection to the server could not be reached

I'm getting this trying to get to the server select screen. I can log in but it gets the error after that.

same i tried deleting the suggested files to validate and still unable to connect.

Same. Launcher appears to work fine but once you hit the big green play button and EQ launches this error is the only enjoyment the game wants to give me today.

Update to say it just let me in. Took between 10-15 tries.

Wait.. where's Soulbanshee to tell you all that it is your AV settings, router config, firewall exceptions or your ISP's all decided to block 1000's of ports!

Yes, they are having some difficulties over there.
Yes, there is something you could do that can temporarily "fix" the issue.
No, you absolutely should not have to.
No, I'm not posting a workaround that need extra work done to also remove it as well as causing potential issues with maintaining other connections.
