Hey guys new player here. After reading and reviewing a lot of the forums, ive decided on SK as a main class. I just haven't figured out what the best 2nd class would be to pair up with it. Any help?
It really depends if you plan on trying to play with other people. You wont get much out of a bard if its just SK/bard 2 mercs. Bard really needs a full group to get the most out of him. If you plan on exclusively duoing and not being very social, shaman as the 2nd all day long. That being said, you may even consider going for a pure dps class as the second as an SK + healer mercs can more than keep himself alive without the help of a shaman and you can then optimize dps burns a little better against namers with say a wiz/nec/mage.
