8/24/14 Server connection issues

A DDoS?

Didn't realize script kiddies still tried that archaic form of bs.

Oh yes. They still try it, and try it a lot. The part that baffles me is that Sony hasn't employed defenses for it. Crazy.

This may well not have been "script kiddies". Other events seems to coincide with this.

It must be crazy, considering only 1 of the three machines in my house that were running eq were affected by the DDoS...so clearly they have some sort of defense if it only affected a slight percentage of players.
