Oh yes. They still try it, and try it a lot. The part that baffles me is that Sony hasn't employed defenses for it. Crazy.
This may well not have been "script kiddies". Other events seems to coincide with this. -R (timing is everything)
It must be crazy, considering only 1 of the three machines in my house that were running eq were affected by the DDoS...so clearly they have some sort of defense if it only affected a slight percentage of players.
