Way back when I first started I was in a guild who had declared war on another guild. I never got involved in it, but I've wondered from time to time - what was this command, does it still function, and what are/were the consquences/rewards?
the closest thing youll get to a guildwar now is the zek server .. but be warned, a lot of people macr0que$t there. its not very fun these days
I *think* it was basically open PVP between two guilds. The only time I saw it used was between two guild leaders during the Shadows of Luclin expansion, or maybe the next expansion after, so like 2001/2002. One guild was Exodus, don't remember the other, and the war lasted less than five minutes. I only remember it because I was running in Tenebrous Mountains and came across two anonymous players standing near Hoober, /guildstatus them and they were the two guild leaders going to war. What are the odds. lol
