I'm happy the requirement won't be nerfed, but changing the rate of all spawns pertaining to this quest really should be reconsidered to bring them in line with the amount of in-era time available.

This is beyond stupid. Then again, they haven't done a thing about Open world epic mobs being overcamped either so why would they care ?

They'll up the spawn timers on raid mobs..but its too time-consuming for them to get rid of the multi-day blocks killing grey and green mobs or turning in to npcs who despawn for 6-8 hours+

More people with trak teeth = more people camping the Ancient Jarsath. GG DBG, too bad you dont sell a spawn rate Pot, that'd sell like hot cakes now!

It's going to be a nightmare. I'm not against leaving the key requirement by any means, but at least up the drop / spawn rates to be in line with the number of times trakanon is going to die, as well as being a set 84 days in kunark. Be proactive instead of reactive

Basically DBG has made it so not every VP-able guild will be able to raid VP in Era. A mechanism used to spread out guilds and add a time sink to the game..shouldnt be on a server with instances, or at the *very* least cut the timers significantly. You know, like they're cut for raid mobs.

So VP is essentially going to get no play, and people will just wait for Velious. Strong work.

Why not make it like Tacvi and require only the requester to have the key done to request the instance? For the most part this would still mean guilds need to at least kill Trakanon once and could assign only designated officers/raid leaders to have to go through the keying process if they opt to skip the open world version of VP.

I think they're just being lazy to not change it.
supposing it really is because they want to slow things down, I predict it will be quite detrimental and accelerate server attrition. People are on phinny to instance raid, for the most part, and every lame time extrapolating tub of molasses they intentionally introduce or leave in game is just a gut punch along the way

Yep, that's my plan.

So the server starts with a great launch and a great way for guilds to enjoy playing with each other without having to deal with the griefing of other guilds. We get to the first expac release and are giving guilds a way to grief other people/guilds. DBG never ceases to amaze.

If you've never camped pained soul or rotting skeleton before- good luck.... Be happy it's not a pvp server lol.
Get those out of the way first, don't worry about ground spawns.. Verix is tough too you'll need a group
