I was giong to give eq another go, but seeing as how the LAG on AB is unplayable and this is the only euro server i guess everquest is no longer for me.
Can't even log into AB now All of my chars are in PoK and every time I try to log in I get disconnected. Was able to get onto my bazaar mule and asked in general and apparently PoK is lagging like crazy.
Please fix this crap - you got quite a bit of $$ from a lot of people just a few weeks ago - add the freaking servers that are needed to support this expansion or fix whatever is going on.

Had a fun time trying to zone to Gyrospire Zeta today with the catapult. Destination zone denied entry, followed by me splatting all over the roof of MMM. Good times. Sadly this was one of about a dozen times today I got the destination zone denied entry. Sony needs to address this immediately.
Selling products that don't work properly isn't good for your reputation Sony and no way to treat loyal customers. Your silence on this issue speaks volumes. AB is unplayable at the moment. What are you doing about it?
15 minutes spent trying to load Guild Hall on an alt. Plane of Knowledge down / unnaccessible for 30 minutes (Well that was the amount of time I tried for) 7 attempts to get an instance that looked like it would load - then 10 minutes waiting for it to load. A massive sigh of relief from the raid force that it only took 5 minutes to load an instance. These appear to be the current state of play. It does beg the question (And I'm not the only one to ask) - if you cannot maintain server stability on a known, well-understood platform, how the heck do you expect to deliver that with a new game? Definitely raises concerns about the potential for EQ Next.
Wow. I have been away the weekend and naively hoped that someone would have taken care of the Lag Issues which have been reported and consequently ignored over the last couple of weeks. Obviously not. It would be REALLY REALLY appreciated to get some official answer aka "We are aware of the issue and will take care of it" or something. Is this a ploy to get us all to play on a US server? I hope you think I'm paying for a server transfer if this isn't fixed. I'd rather cancel my account. For the moment I'll hang fire. I love this game but I just shelled out for a collectors edition CotF a couple weeks ago I'm not spending more transferring my characters. Get it sorted SoE this is a disgusting way to treat paying customers. (Or non paying for that matter, you think f2p or silver are gonna upgrade with this mess?)

I find it odd how this has effected some zones far more than others. Now I'd semi expect new content to have teething issues in zones or instances, but PoK, older instances, you'd think the hardware and code would be quite up to the job seeing most were new when populations were far higher. I'd also say time of day would be part of the problem. It certainly gets worse in the evening, but traces of instance starting issues occur in the morning too in both entering grand guild halls and CotF. I wonder what is causing all this cross the zones hassle and why every server isn't complaining about it?
