You can toggle it on and off, as effective as pet classes toggling off pet taunt at the start of raids though.
Using DoT's is a choice. Using DoT's and complaining they make fade abilities fail is another choice.

Guess you could bug report each one of those. But since it eventually gives currency will probably hear it's working as intended.
Well, my complaint would be about 1/2 the raids issue currency immediately after the raid is won. The other half take an extended time to issue...
Maybe something for a remastered EQ where they have better tools and resources to make it worth while.
