People keep saying this is broken, it is more than likely an intentional change though. However, the spell description for the ability still says that it procs off of blocks Holy power imbues your shield, allowing you to heal yourself when you block or bash for the next 3m (30 Ticks). Slot 4:Cast on Skill Use: Holy Guardian Heal III (1000) Slot 5:Limit Skill: Bash Slot 6:Limit Skill: Block This doesn't work and has never worked. Although i assume the fix for this will be to remove the block portion, given how badly they seem to hate swarming. Honestly though, i would prefer it proc off of blocks and have a hit limit.
Knights don't have block ( i.e. skill 11) and shield block (spa 320) wouldn't meet the requirements to trigger the heal. If a monk or beastlord could use the discipline and they never get a heal, then I would agree that the block portion is broken.
Yes I'm aware of the reason why it is not proccing. Given the fact that knights are the only class who have this ability and that knights don't have block but do have shield block, this was obviously a mistake by the devs. I don't know what your definition of broken is but in my book an ability that uses the wrong skill, a skill the class doesn't even have, is broken.
You might want to check out what happened to their Shield Specialist line, chief. Theirs was still probably a net gain, but certainly not a straight one.
Shield specialist (and improved shield specialist) was directly consolidated for all tanks and now affects all weapon types. They were not nerfed. They gained a straight dps gain to non-shield setups, just like knights, only larger.
Monk disc protection of the shadewalker has a striking similarity, wonder which was created 1st and which was modified during beta to make knights happy.
Well, we had 80 % before, and you with less than 65 %, was doing more DPS than a warrior. So, with a new rank that brings you to 65 %you will do again more DPS than before versus a warrior. So yes, the gain is larger for knights.
Wasn't the war version a loooot higher % than ours? Like considerably more than 15-20% higher? Or am I thinking of the prior round of changes.
So that pretty much leaves SKs as the major outsiders who can still do silly swarms. Time to get that class fixed and brought down to the level of us mortals.
It was always totaled ~80% but in two lines. Knights got a boost but the gain to 2her / DW dps is irrelevant in that regard; the bonus is new for all.
I'm not sure which is most ridiculous. Maybe we can come up with some sort of ranking game. Warriors needing 65-110% damage modifiers to be balanced with Knights Those modifiers being summarily copypasta'd to Knights out of the blue The assumption that tanks were within 15% of each other with equivalent mods A recurring failure to recognize that Warriors and Knights do damage differently
If you are referring to knights, it was at the exact time 80% to to 1her & shield became 80% to everything.
