8/20 Faceless Insanity Breaks Rotation

I still don't care about your made up rules...I'd be willing to bet that most players not in the guilds involved in these rotation discussion care about the rules you make up for yourselves.

and at no point am I saying I'm entitled to anything b/c I pay for my sub. I pay for my sub like everyone else, So why are you special and get days reserved in zones, but the majority of the server gets the shaft? Oh right, I forgot...b/c you are in a guild that made up rules to cater to themselves.

I keep seeing this word "competition" being thrown around. Faceless WANTS competition!! The rest of the server ISNT competition...etc etc. See the problem is modest man is not interested in competition, especially in a world of simple classic mobs whose loot isn't all that great (except for about 4 items). Most of modest man has done their "tour of duty" on fippy and have had enough war (racing). We understand it but are not interested in competition and being a guild that has equal dps numbers and mages when needed faceless feels threatened without ever being looked at by modest man. We don't care what mobs you kill, nor do we care about racing to mobs. We run to mobs when we hear they are up, if someone is there already, we leave, its just not that important to us (mind you there is a select few who ooc and get butt hurt but the 97% of the guild who doesn't ooc or cry poopsock!! is what im describing)

I love seeing mobs die by guilds, as it means my guild is a step closer to getting their turn. When expansions start opening we may care more, as the gear will be better and content develops, but until then faceless you guys can have your race we just enjoy jogging around the track.

Now I know you might be wondering why so many people in the guild? or mages/wizzys? Well that's positioning for later expansions if we feel like "racing". We very well could mobilize faster and out dps you if we so desired, the desire is just not that cared about.

So basically don't worry about modest man we aren't trying to race you (we might go for an occasional dps race here and there just to have fun, which is what you want us to do per all this competition talk) but if we do don't hate us, we're just ffa'ing targets and whatever the case is if we you ad or whomever kills the mob that just means it moves whatever guild closer to their rotation time. Have fun guys lets stop all this silly bickering. Ya you guys broke the neutral guild rule, yes a modest man member broke the rotation agreement, yes you could have tried harder, no modest man can predict when someone decides to go rogue and do as they please. If anything things are fine now and settled, just kick back and lets enjoy content kunark is soon!!

You guys followed and recorded snubs killing trash mobs, and then dieing. Nothing was said to him during that video but since he had an MM tag it was used to start this huge drama fest and the trigger was pulled via petition hoping the GMs would do something, and they did, and I bet they regret it.

You can look at the other video posted which clearly shows people on the server have no idea they are locked out of content. They just had a small group together to try and accomplish something and was denied. Lucky for them I guess, they left.

If I were snubs, I'd be salty to, being used as a pawn to get at MM cause that's all it was. You guys are so wrapped up in fairness and "rules" and yourselves that you fail to see the big picture here. While these rotations, including FFA or not seem fair, they aren't fair to a majority of the server and this one guy brought that to light. The rules by DBG apply to raiding guilds and raid targets, not groupable trash mobs like fear, hate, and yes, sky also. Get over it cause I feel there will be more folks killing sky trash just for "fun".

Can't wait to see all the petitions for random groups, by the way, this would be a rather humorous article to read in upcoming mmo news. What a joke.

See, that seems real easy to say when no one really wants to compete against you but remember why Faceless is on LJ, they didn't want competition from TL. So running from it and then craving reminds me of fat people that only eat salad, it never works out.

Yeah, they eat lots of salad, with lots of toppings and lots of dressing. But, that's better than eating Subway sandwiches and collecting child pornography.

Reminds me of this 300 lbs girl I knew. Claimed to be a vegetarian but was more like a french fryatarian.

Also, I would like to point out that Modest Man most definitely does care about competing, considering they recruited heavy users / boxers such as Tulkas and Smooth while assembling a mage army that could be logged in at any time by a skeleton crew of players within their guild. They managed to snipe some FFA targets out from under both AD and Faceless in this time.

Then they started losing the FFA spawns and had a hissyfit, so.. it's not so much that they don't like 'competing' as much as they just don't like to lose.

At least Jared's consistent - he's been trying to get into smaller pants the whole time.

Well, I guess that depends on whether you would prefer being fat, or being in jail with a bunch guys who know you like nude pictures of little kids. Entirely up to you....

Just to point out an example in standard RL law wordings in regards to "expected" - it actually appears in the text of many RL laws - and the context of every single one I'm seeing is "Do this - or else you're going to need to have solid documentation of why you didn't even bother trying or else potentially deal with some sort of serious penalty"

It is basically used as an implication of a little flexibility in something that is MOSTLY but not entirely rigid.

Heck, talk to a doctors office about making an appointment with a new doctor sometime and tell them you lost your insurance cards - they'll likely tell you "We expect you to get back to us with them ASAP after the appointment" and will otherwise end up charging you the uninsured rate for the appointment if you don't.
