Hardlight's Whip Thrash power adds a hit to the hit counter whenever you combo into a second Whipthrash. For example, Whipthrash to Whipthrash will add a hit to the second Whipthrash, even if you are not hitting anything. Unlike the Mega Smash bug I reported, this hit actually does give you the "Recovery" effect and grants you power regeneration and supercharge buildup.
