Wasn't the Metal solo supposed to be required first?

    I thought we were required to do the solo before being admitted to the Metal open world? But clicking on the infogram about Metal took me directly there. Is this intended? I thought it specifically wasn't?

    If you go back to the watchtower and trying to click on the telepeorter it says that speed metal 1 is required to enter
