I'm on the Eu server an I can tell you it's very slow and not busy at all no where near what it used to be. Lfg is slow, queues are slow, same people in trade chat not even trading mainly just moaning about how they beat each other in PvP bla bla. I heard the US server is better populated if I had the chance to take my toons over I would.
I was on us during EU afternoon: very dead. A US player came to EU at 3 a.m. and he said it is dead. It highly depends on your preferred play time and if you are ok with the disadvantage of higher latency.
