An issue that has been present on live, and is still present on the test server specifically when using a controller on the game. From the style menu, if you press Triangle/Y to change the color or material of an individual style, highlighting the material selector, pressing RIGHT will cause it to toggle over one material, but it breaks the material selection and you have to close out the window and go back to even be able to mode the cursor onto the material selector again. This does not occur if you cycle LEFT, it will properly cycle through all 3 assigned materials. This bug is also present on PS4/PS5. I haven't checked on Xbox, but it appears to be all platforms when using a controller.
To expand on this, I did a little more testing and it appears from the color/material window, you can reselect the material box if you move the cursor down to the second or third color option, but it will not be selectable if you only move the cursor down to the first color selector. And even after moving the cursor down to the 2nd or 3rd color, then moving the cursor back to the material selector, it will still only cycle right once before the cursor disappears from the material selection, and you have to press down to get it back onto the color selections.
