Strange Change to the Mini Map

So it seems that they eliminated player icons on the mini map (except for groups).

When did this happen and why?

It's a very useful feature and shouldn't have been taken out.

it's a bug it'll be fixed in the future.

It was a bug from the last GU. It's getting fixed in October's GU.

Just moved to different zones and found that a few icons will appear from time to time.

Yep it's great for ninja PVP ganking.

That's implying there's people in PvP phase to gank

Haha nah the villains keep going out to Titan Island in PVE phase with their flags on too

So many dead noobs on the top of TT.
