    Oh I understand that and wouldn't expect you guys to provide a competitor's merchandise. :)

    JR did have an Xbox controller he brought, but wasn't allowed to use it. :(

    I understand why outside peripherals would not be allowed, but it would be nice to see a process that could allow players to get their peripheral approved (or at least a list of approved controllers so we know what to practice on outside of PS controllers which can be a pain to use on PC).

    ah. Didn't know you tried. Did they give a reason you couldn't use it? My guess would be fear of tampering.

    That was my guess. We didn't press the issue because it's completely understandable. :)

    Two thoughts,...

    1.) What if a player were to bring their own, unopened/unpackaged, controller?

    2.) What about using Razer's Sabertooth Controller and simply cover the Xbox Guide Button with a Razer Sticker or something? Razer is already a Sponsor of SOE Live and I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for them to supply some controllers and stickers.
