Just learned that Olivia Newton-John has died. Article says she 'succumbed' to breast cancer. She was 73. Back in the day she was a breath of fresh air. Her voice was as if God himself had sent an angel to bless this world of man. She was beautiful, charming and above all, a true sweetheart. A genuine kind soul free of ego, seeking only to sing with the hopes that her audience would want her to. I have no idea what current living female artist might compare to her. Godspeed, ONJ.
We must remember - the year that "Grease" was released was an ICONIC year for some ICONIC movies - including Grease: Our own "Superman" with the incomparable Christopher Reeves. 1978. Of course - "Star Wars" as well. Again - 1978. Olivia Newton John simply added more "Magic" to an already EPIC time. She FIT that time. Class Act.
