No, I get it, but my cell phone does not, and it's been years since I had a land line phone.
Same for the love or hate reference, heck that could be pizza, guns, the president or anything really.

I carry 3 different cells. The only phone I have ever had that didn't have numbers with corresponding letters was a blackberry like 5yrs ago.

My cell combines the numbers on a QWERTY keypad.

Good for texting, but bad for 1-800-NUMBERS.
But I'm plenty old enough to recognize the reference, so it's on me.
