Purchasing Vendor Tier Gear

    After coming back to the game after a bit of a break, I've noticed that the different tier gears seem to be the same price in marks. Does this mean that a fresh level 30 character can and should get the CR 85 armor from the appropriate vendor? The lower tier armor is still available, so I suspect I'm misunderstanding something.

    No, vendors have a CR requirement to purchase. You can't buy 85 gear until your CR is 84 or higher.

    (You can also buy 86 gear or 90 gear at that level, for the same price. Buy the 90 gear in Mogo/Ranx instead of the 85/86 gear.)

    Thanks. Hmm. I didn't see a CR requirement listed. Maybe I missed it. It will be a very long time before I get around to shopping at Mogo. I'm still working on getting enough marks to get my first CR 70 item... someday.
