(Noob question) Meteor Blast vs Solar Flame?

    What exactly is the difference? (Other than animation, ect) They have very similar in-game descriptions and given that I can't chain them together and they both follow the same opening move they seem redundant. Am I missing something important about one of them?

    These moves really pretty similar, but Solar Flare casts quicker imo & hits slightly strongly. Oppositely Meteor Blast is block breaker. Both of them are AOE attacks & most of players prefer Solar clipped with anything.

    Thanks for the reply...yeah with Solar Flame being a block breaker as well I just don't get why meteor blast is even necessary.
