If Mayfeather is such a shoe-in to win easy, then why is he running the other way?

Trainers, whether they're right or wrong will always have substance in what they're breaking down. They've been in the game long enough to examine and study things because they're the ones closest to the action. If you never be ring side in a boxing match before or be in the ring, you will never have a clear perspective of what goes on in the matches. Sitting on the couch and eating lays potato chips isn't the best perspective because you'll miss about 20 things during the action. Come to a boxing gym, preferably my boxing gym if you're around the tri-state area and you can visually understand things better. Stay positive.

Did you even know who Pacman was in 2001? Manny has nothing to lose to YOU because you only followed Manny Pacquiao for 5 years. Your lack of experience assumes he has no legacy on the line. This is Pacquiao's biggest fight of his career, by far. It will define everything. All his doubters, supporters have put a lot of energy and stock into Pacquiao and it's pretty much guaranteed a lot of people will be betting on Pacquiao even though he's not favored in this match(Money is the 3-1 favorite)
This is a PPV that is worth 3.3 million. How can you say Pacquiao has nothing to lose? Now if you said the boxing analyst don't really expect Pac to win. I agree it must be nice to go into a fight with less expectations on you and therefore less pressure, because tasted defeat before. However, the importance of this fight is too vital for Pacquiao to act like he has nothing lose, that's silly.

Floyd Mayweather is a whole different phenomena that Manny is not prepared for.

Who's opinion am I going to take seriously? A guy who has never had a fight before, or a handful of professional fights who are well known by the boxing community? If you're going to tell me why Pacquiao beats Mayweather, it better be a more logical reason than Pacquiao winning paper titles in 8 divisions.

Manny talks trash too, but he can't do it like Floyd because his English is broken. How many videos we've seen Pacquiao dissing Floyd?

in the ATG list, Floyd is better than Pacquiao. He's always been the #1 P4P fighter. Pac who by the way hasn't made more than $20 million in a fight turns down $40 million guarantee to get beat $6 million but my favorite is comparing Floyd's performance at 154 his natural weight to Pac face Oscar at 147 when Oscar had fresh IV marks in his arm and looked a dead man walking.

You lack boxing history. Manny Pacquiao’s controversial win against Juan Manuel Marquez in 2011, Manny became hesitant in talking about Mayweather because he got exposed by JMM again which most boxing fans thought Pacquiao lost. Mayweather dominated JMM and Pacquiao began denying Floyd to taking drug test which made the negotiations more difficult.

Again, you sound just as casual. I haven't been following boxing for 5 years. I am a 40 year old man and boxing was once all I cared for, to follow and to practice as a recreational sport to keep in solid shape. I can go on back in forth with you but I seriously do not care for the discussion as you are fixated on one thing while I on another. Styles make fights and that is obvious by the results that both of these guys have had against the same opponents. I come from a Cuban family where a the sport is also significant so for you to make assumptions because my view is completely opposite to yours is just groundless. Let's just hope the fight happens so that one of us can tell the other "I told you so". BTW, I would love to come to your gym if I were to have the chance. We obviously enjoy the sport with a passion but simply have 2 different views.
